The assignment for Thursday Night was to draw a very reflective object utilizing high contrast techniques and drawing shapes and letting the drawing develop from them. I chose a silver pitcher and after lightiling mapping in the pitcher, drew the shapes within the subject respecting the contours of the pitcher. After I got home I photographed the drawing and came back in photoshop and highlighted the brightest shapes in the pitcher.

Sketchbook: Thursday Night at the DMA
The assignment for Thursday Night was to draw a very reflective object utilizing high contrast techniques and drawing shapes and letting the drawing develop from them.
