This week in sketching in the galleries I chose to sketch part of one of my favorite paintings. This is the head of
That Gentleman, an egg tempera painted by Andrew Wyeth in 1960. This painting holds a little more significance since I visited with his grandson at the
Wyeth Hurd Gallery in Santa Fe New Mexico this summer (July, 2008).
