This is a preliminary pencil drawing of a reining horse in a sliding stop.I will soon follow with a charcoal version of this same drawing. This drawing is from a photograph taken at the Western Bloodstock APHA Sale this past July. Below is the photo in composite, the same reiner in slide in two different views.
